Indiana Dames Scholarship Winner

The Indiana Society contributes to an annual scholarship to a local college student studying American history. This year’s recipient is Hailey Dwyer who attends Butler University.

Hailey will be completing her degree next year in History. She is currently in the early stages of a thesis and will participate in the Butler Summer Institute looking at the history of voting in the United States and the impacts of technology on voting. She also serves as one of the department’s social media interns. In this capacity, she has investigated the history of various American holidays and celebrations. After Butler, Hailey plans to pursue a law degree. 

Hailey has been invited to be recognized at our Annual Meeting on May 12.
